Beamlab Academy Β· Kathmandu, Nepal

You learned
to code.
Now learn how
devs work.

Most CS graduates can write code β€” but nobody teaches Git, Agile, or Clean Code. The things every developer uses every single day. We do. Hands-on. Certified. Kathmandu.

The problem

Schools teach you to build.
No one teaches you to ship.

Every company that hires a fresh developer in Nepal faces the same week-one surprise β€” they can code, but they've never worked in a real team. We fix that.

01
Fresh devs can't use Git in a team
Cloning a repo is one thing. Handling diverged branches, resolving conflicts, and keeping a clean history under pressure is another entirely.
02
Nobody has heard of sprint planning
Agile and Scrum aren't taught in any Nepali CS curriculum. Your first sprint meeting shouldn't be your first time hearing the word "velocity."
03
Code is impossible to read or review
Writing code that works is taught. Writing code a teammate can read, review, and build on six months later β€” that's not taught anywhere.
Developer Foundations Track

Two months.
Two certifications.

Each module runs for one calendar month β€” 2 hours/day, Monday to Friday. Both modules run six times a year. Take one or do both back-to-back for the full Developer Foundations Certificate.

Runs every other month
2 hrs/day Β· Mon–Fri Β· ~20 sessions
Mastering Git
How your code is managed. Every conflict type, every undo scenario, GitFlow, trunk-based development, hooks, and real team collaboration workflows.
Follows Mastering Git
2 hrs/day Β· Mon–Fri Β· ~20 sessions
Scrum & Clean Code
How your team works and how your code reads. Agile ceremonies, user stories, sprint simulations β€” then SOLID principles, refactoring, and code review culture.
Full track: Start any odd month, finish the next β€” 2 months, 2 certifications, one Developer Foundations Certificate. Each module runs 6 times a year so the maximum wait for any module is around 6 to 8 weeks. More courses coming β†’

What we teach.

Module 01 Β· Runs every other month

Mastering Git

Every conflict type. Every undo scenario. Real repos with real problems baked in β€” from "what is a branch" to GitFlow, open source workflows, and Git hooks.

Branching, merging, conflict resolution
Diverged branches, rebase, cherry-pick
GitFlow, trunk-based, open source workflows
Git hooks and GitHub Actions intro
Module 02 Β· Follows Mastering Git

Scrum & Clean Code

Two weeks of Scrum, two weeks of Clean Code β€” combined because both are about how teams work together on code. One informs the other every single day.

Agile principles, Scrum roles, ceremonies
User stories, estimation, 4 mock sprints
Naming, functions, SOLID, DRY, code smells
Code review culture, PR etiquette, docs

Who this is for

Three audiences. One program.

For students & developers

You can code.
Now become hireable.

You've built projects. You've finished college or a bootcamp. But you've never merged a conflict in a real team, run a sprint, or shipped through a CI pipeline. This closes every one of those gaps before your first job.

  • Fresh BIT / BSc / BCA graduates
  • Bootcamp completers
  • Junior developers levelling up
  • Freelancers moving into teams
  • Employed devs filling skill gaps
For companies & teams

Stop onboarding.
Start shipping.

You hire talented developers and spend the first month teaching them Git, Jira, and how not to push directly to main. Send your interns and junior hires to us β€” they arrive ready to contribute on day one.

  • Tech companies hiring fresh grads
  • Agencies onboarding interns
  • Teams adopting Agile
  • CTOs standardizing practices
  • Startups building dev culture
For colleges & universities

Teach what the
curriculum misses.

Your CS program teaches students to code. It doesn't teach them Git, Agile, or CI/CD β€” the tools every employer expects on day one. We plug that gap alongside your existing curriculum.

  • BIT / BSc / BCA programs
  • Final year practical supplements
  • Industry-aligned certification
  • Custom scheduling around semesters
  • Group enrollment with progress reports
Questions

Frequently
asked.

When does the first cohort start? +
We're currently gauging interest. Fill the survey and we'll notify you when cohort 1 dates are confirmed β€” likely September 2026. Early bird pricing goes to survey respondents first.
Do I need prior experience? +
For Mastering Git, basic terminal knowledge and some programming background helps. For Scrum & Clean Code, no technical prerequisites β€” it's suitable for developers and non-technical team members alike.
Can I take just one module? +
Yes. Each module stands on its own and awards its own certificate. You're never locked into taking both. Each module runs 6 times a year so the maximum wait is never more than 6 weeks if you miss one.
How does 2 hours/day actually work? +
The first hour is teaching β€” new concept with live demo. The second hour is hands-on β€” you apply it immediately using pre-built repos and scenario packs. Teaching and application happen the same day so nothing is forgotten overnight.
Can my company enroll multiple employees? +
Absolutely. We offer group enrollment for companies onboarding interns or upskilling junior developers. Custom pricing for 5+ seats per module. Email [email protected] to discuss your team's needs and schedule.
Can colleges integrate this into their curriculum? +
Yes β€” this is one of our primary goals. We can work with colleges to schedule sessions around academic calendars, offer group pricing for student batches, and provide progress reports to departments. Reach out to [email protected] to explore a partnership.
How is the certificate verified? +
Each certificate has a unique ID and QR code linking to cert.beamlab.academy. Recruiters, employers, and LinkedIn connections can verify authenticity, issue date, and score instantly β€” no login required.
